AliExpress Split-or-Combine Order Optimizer — Should You Split Your Basket?

Quick answer

Enter your basket, coupons and shipping rule: we compute the cheapest way to check out — one combined order that clears the free-shipping threshold, or several

Figures are estimates from this calculator’s standard formula — adjust the inputs in the tool below for your exact number.

How the split-order optimizer works

Cheapest plan = the lowest of Σ(each order’s items − its coupons + its shipping)

The calculator balances two opposing AliExpress rules: coupons are single-use and one per column per order (a reason to split), while shipping is paid per order and free only above a threshold (a reason to combine). It tries every partition of the basket into up to 3 orders and every assignment of coupons, and shows the cheapest plan against the single combined order.

  1. 1

    Enter your basket

Unit price and quantity per item, plus the store name for items from the same seller.

  2. 2

    Enter coupons & shipping

Each coupon’s value and threshold as checkout shows them, plus the per-order shipping cost and free-shipping threshold.

  3. 3

    Read the plan

The recommended number of orders, each order’s items and coupons, and the saving versus the combined order.

FAQs

Why can splitting my basket into two orders be cheaper?

AliExpress coupons apply per order: each order can use the best store coupon of each seller, one platform coupon and one promo code. If you hold two coupons of the same column, they cannot stack in a single order — but two separate orders can use one each.

And when is combining better?

When the extra shipping outweighs the extra coupon. Shipping is paid per order and free shipping is usually granted above a threshold on that order’s subtotal — two small orders may each pay delivery while the combined order clears the threshold and ships free.

Can I reuse the same coupon on the second order?

No — AliExpress coupons are single-use, so the optimiser assigns each coupon you enter to at most one order in the plan.

Where do the coupon and shipping numbers come from?

From you only. Copy the values the checkout page or coupon center shows — we fetch no coupon data and invent none, and the result is only as accurate as what you enter.
