Flooring Cost – Material + Underlay + Labor

This tool applies the formula Total = Area × (Material + Underlay + Labor) + Trims directly to the measurements you enter, so the result is an exact quantity rather than a rough guess. Because flooring cost is priced and delivered per unit - cubic meters, square meters, bags or tonnes - a small measurement error multiplies across the entire order, which is why the calculation is worth doing properly. Worked example: 35 m² of mid LVT: 35 × (22 + 2 + 12) = $1,260 plus $140 of trims and doors transitions. One note from practice: Ask quotes per finished m² including trims - unit prices hide transition costs.
