  Hebrew and Coptic dates do not map one-to-one — the two systems start from different epochs and count leap years differently, so enter the full Hebrew date and read the Coptic equivalent instead of shifting the year by a fixed offset.

  Enter the Hebrew–Coptic dates in YYYY-MM-DD format to avoid ambiguity — some conventions read 03/04 as March fourth and others as April third, and a swapped month and day silently shifts every result this page derives.

  Time zones can move a Hebrew–Coptic date by a full day around midnight: today in one zone is still yesterday or tomorrow in another, so anchor the calculation to the zone your event actually follows before you enter anything.

• The Hebrew and Coptic calendars differ in year length and leap pattern, so a fixed-day offset — 365, 354, any memorized constant — drifts the Coptic date badly. Convert the complete date so both leap rules apply.

• Anniversaries do not survive conversion unchanged: a Hebrew date maps to a fixed Coptic date, but next year's Hebrew anniversary lands on a different Coptic date. Reconvert each occurrence instead of adding one year to the last result.
